The Robert Crown Center is an existing recreational and daycare facility located in Evanston, Illinois. The main driver in redesigning the Robert Crown Center was distilled from an attempt to reintegrate the RCC back into the Evanston Community. Evanston features several interesting cultural centers: the Evanston Art Center, and the Evanston-Skokie sculpture trail. Extending the sculpture trail into Crown park and establishing a new facility for the Evanston Art Center were the main design strategies for this reintegration.
